The home of Safestyle windows: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Wow, what a place to work. Bradford has a magic to it with "dark, satanic mills" which give the city a certain gothic charm. Many of the old mills and warehouses are still in commercial use, a large number have been cleaned and converted into stunning city centre apartments and the sleek, large picture double glazed windows add a beautiful twentieth century twist to the old buildings - none more so than Little Germany, which is now "the" place to live. Bradford is a great challenge for us a Safestyle because all these amazing buildings mean we often have to get our creative heads on.

We also bet you didn't know that Bradford City Council is probably the "greenest" in the UK with groundbreaking recycling and energy efficiency programs. Enter the city from the M62/M606 and you will be greeted by council residences boldly displaying vertical helix wind turbines on the roofs.

Bradford city centre is down in the valley basin but many of the residential properties are up on the valley sides and hill tops which can make for breathtaking views and bracing winds, especially up in Queensbury and Baildon Moor! It is not surprising that you'll be hard pressed to find double glazing in Bradford that isn't Safestyle and we are proud to bring not only warmth but skilled jobs to the area that we call home.
