Two Doncaster tenants have won a prize draw enabling them to buy decorations after making home improvements.
St Leger Homes, a non-profit organisation which manages 21,000 council homes in Doncaster, gave Mary and Alan Mellor £100 in vouchers after they completed a customer satisfaction questionnaire following the work.
The couple's home had new windows fitted as part of an overall initiative that is expected to see £11 million invested on council homes to install double-glazed windows and doors.
Ms Mellor commented: "I couldn't believe it, we never usually win anything. The vouchers have given us the chance to finish off our home by buying the decorations we were saving for."

Start Parker, who won the prize with his wife Sharon, said that they had originally planned to replace their windows at the back of their house, but can now do the front as well.
