Home Products Customer care Offers Local to you

Homeowners in Denbighshire are being asked to provide information on the energy-efficiency of their homes to the council.

The council is asking residents to complete a questionnaire, giving details of their property's insulation, whether or not they have double glazing, and how much fuel and heating they use.

Councillor Pauline Dobb, cabinet lead member with responsibility for housing, said that it was "extremely important" for local residents to complete the questionnaire and revealed that some people could be entitled to free insulation and heating measures.

"Residents will also receive a free report on savings that could be made in the home, together with information about grants to help with the cost of insulation measures," Councillor Dobb said.

"This is a real opportunity to improve energy efficiency in the home and completing this survey could result in a cost saving in your heating bills," she added.

Double glazing is a surprisingly cheap way to boost your energy efficiency, keeping you warm in the winter and blocking out the heat in the summer.
