A new eco homes development offers a selection of features to help its inhabitants reduce their carbon footprint.
The Greenfields development in Overton has been designed to incorporate a number of eco features in order to claim the green homes title.
Developer David Wilson Homes Southern claims the green homes include leading green-features to preserve natural resources with minimum effort.
These include solar panels and rainwater harvesting which have been incorporated in the design of the properties while extra space has been left aside to make recycling easier.
Lynne Morgan, the firm's sales director, said: "Greenfields is a truly special development that illustrates how carefully designed, sustainable housing can meet the ever changing needs of today's house hunters whilst still providing them with a practical and stylish home."
George Wimpey's eco homes are available in its Kent development for first-time buyers or those wanting to downsize their property.
