A housing project set to be built on a particularly noisy site - next to an airport.
The scheme, which will see a number of homes built next to Shoreham Airport's main terminal, is said to be the first of its kind in the UK.
Erinaceous, the airport's owner, is targeting the homes at airport staff, aircraft owners and enthusiasts.
Top-of-the-range sound-proofing will be installed to insulate the homes against the noise from passing planes.
Airports are often seen as places were nearby residents are most affected by noise pollution.
For example, Stansted Airport recently held a noise-monitoring conference to address the issue, while Birmingham International Airport provided a local school with a grant to install double glazing to keep out the noise.
Whether living by airports or busy roads, double glazed windows and doors can help insulate a home against noise pollution.
