Football fans heading to Accrington in the future will be treated to the entertainment talents of Jeff Brown, star of the Safestyle UKdouble glazing adverts.

According to This is Lancashire, the man with the 'you buy one, you get one free' catchphrase will "crank up" match atmospheres at Accrington Stanley's home games.

"I'm there to help them get the atmosphere up and get them cracking on a few new ideas about how to promote the club," Jeff explained to the news provider.

He went on to point out that he will lead pre-match and half-time entertainment at the Fraser Eagle stadium until the end of the season.

"I'm very fond of the club and if I can help them in any way I will," he concluded.

There has been speculation that the bearded supremo will use his vocal talents - famously featured in Safestyle's double glazing rap - to get a club song recorded.

Earlier this year, Safestyle UK hit the headlines again when a Worcester couple became the first winners of a scheme to pay off the costs of their home's double glazing.

Stuart and Sharon Parker had their names chosen in the company's popular Diamond Account Club draw, established in November last year.
