A Worcester couple have become the first winners of a scheme which will see the costs of their home's double glazing paid off in full.

Stuart and Sharon Parker's £4,000 account balance will be covered by window and door specialist Safestyle UK after their names were chosen in the company's Diamond Account Club draw.

Established in November last year, the club is intended to provide perks for people who purchase new or replacement windows and door products on the retailer's flexible finance package.

A quarterly prize draw, in which winners qualify to have their entire outstanding payment balance paid off in full, comprises one of the key benefits of the initiative.

Stuart Parker explained that he and his wife had originally only planned to buy replacement windows for the back of their house, while the prize enables them to cover the front as well.

"We moved to Worcester two years ago and have been saving up to upgrade our windows since," he continued.

Mr Parker concluded: "This really is a fantastic way to start the year - I was always sceptical about any competition, believing the offers were not real.
