Our process explained
We understand that installing new windows, doors or a conservatory upgrade are major home improvements that you will want to consider carefully. We aim to make the whole process with Safestyle as simple and stress free as possible. Getting a quote has never been easier, simply fill out the form on our website and a member of our team will be in touch. You can also call us on 0800 106 107 to speak to a member of our team and arrange a quote appointment visit.
What happens after requesting a quote from Safestyle?
A member of our team will contact you on the telephone number you provided. They will ask you a few further questions such as, how many windows and doors you would like a quote for, confirm your details and confirm that you are the homeowner. We will always attempt to call you back the same day and often within the same hour of you requesting a quote. Once we have that information we will work around your schedule to book a convenient time and date for your quote appointment.
How quickly can a representative visit my property?
We understand you have a busy life so we aim to be as flexible as possible with our appointment times. As we have many representatives working all over the country we can visit you the same day in most cases. Our representatives typically work from 9am until 9pm so that we can visit you as a convenient time. As we work around you simply tell us your preferred time and date and we will make every effort to accommodate that.
What happens during the quote appointment?
A typical quote appointment would last at least 45 minutes in order to take all the appropriate measurements and discuss the relevant requirements. At your Safestyle quote appointment we will give you a little bit more information about our business and also give you the chance to view our product samples. Your representative will take initial pricing measurements, discuss your design options, listen to your requirements, answer any questions you may have and provide you with a quote price. Your quote is valid for 12 months so that you have plenty of time to make up your mind.
Who needs to be present for the quote appointment?
We do request that all decision makers are present for the appointment as we believe this allows us to provide the most efficient service. We find that as replacement windows and doors are not frequent purchases, people appreciate being given information about the industry, its regulations, and how it could affect their choices as well as it allowing them to make an informed decision.
Whether that wins us your business or not we feel it our duty as a professional company to provide this information. In addition if we visit only one party, where two individuals are involved the other may well have a number of questions that may have not been raised or answered at the initial visit. Equally there may be differing opinions on the choices available and we feel that many of our customers enjoy looking through these options and making the decision together.
Nevertheless, if you advise that only you need to be available for the appointment, the person you are speaking with will discuss this with you and make the appropriate arrangements.
Can I get a quote on a property that I do not legally own?
If you live in a rented or council property we would need confirmation from the homeowner to state that they give their permission for the work to be carried out. As the fitting of double glazing products is an alteration to a property, we unfortunately cannot offer you a quote unless we have the full permission of all people named as the owner/s. We will address this with you during your first phone call with Safestyle and also answer any questions you may have.
Can i get a quote for a property that I am in the process of buying?
Unfortunately we are not able to provide you with a quote for a property that you do not yet own or one that is currently being built. Our prices are based on exact dimensions and there are various factors that need to be taken into consideration which can affect the final cost. We have a range of styles and colour options available that our customers can choose from, and by visiting the property your representative can advise you on which would be most suitable for your home. We would also need to gain access to the property to check the surrounding structure and whether any additional requirements, such as scaffolding, are needed. It's best to get in touch with us once you have moved into the property so we can provide you with an accurate price.
Is the price agreed with your sales team the price Safestyle will supply and install for?
In the vast majority of orders, yes, the price on your contract is the price you will pay. However on very rare occasions the visit from our Technical Surveyor may highlight an issue that wasn't apparent to our Sales representative, in which case this will be discussed with you in full, giving you the option to proceed.
