At Safestyle we love when our employees are passionate about great causes and want to support and help charities that they really care about. We aim to make sure that employees' fundraising efforts are rewarded with our matched giving policy. The company will match the amount that any employee has fundraised for a registered charity or organisation up to the value of £250.
A huge congratulations to Kashif Ahmed who works in the new business registration department at our head office, he has completed The Great North Run to raise money for the NSPCC. Kashiff works at Safestyle part time as he also works as a teacher so the NSPCC is a cause that is very close to his heart.
The NSPCC are the UK's leading children's charity that are fighting to end child abuse in the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. They work to help abused children rebuild their lives, protect young people who are at risk and find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening. They work not only young children but their families also to support them through such difficult times. The NSPCC offer all kinds of support and help with a range of issues including abuse, battling addiction and overcoming mental health issues.
This year was Kashif's second time completing the marathon and he managed to raise an amazing £177 for the charity. As part of our employee matched giving policy Safestyle have also given a £177 donation to the NSPCC bringing his total amount fundraised to £354. Well done to Kashif for raising a great amount for such a deserving cause.
