At Safestyle we love when our employees are passionate about great causes and want to support and help charities that they really care about. We aim to make sure that employees' fundraising efforts are rewarded with our matched giving policy. The company will match the amount that any employee has fundraised for a registered charity or organisation up to the value of £250.
Natasha Chisholm who works at Safestyle's head office began fundraising earlier this year to raise money for a charity very close to her heart - Bliss. The work that Bliss do is so important in helping babies that have been born sick or premature and supporting their families. Earlier this year Natasha's first child, William, was born 11 weeks early by emergency C-section. He was only 3lb 3oz and had to be kept in intensive care for 12 weeks.
Natasha decided to raise money for Bliss to coincide with World Premature day on the 17th November. She held a raffle asking for donations from family, friends and other Safestyle employees. Natasha raised an amazing £360 for Bliss and Safestyle has made a donation of £250 bringing the total amount to £610.
Each year in the UK there are over 95,000 babies that are born premature or sick and in need of neonatal care. Bliss exists to give every baby born premature or sick in the UK the very best chance of survival and quality of life. The time babies spend on a neonatal unit and the care they receive is vital to determining their future and chances of survival.
