I found the dynamics of Safestyle really refreshing.

I've worked for Safestyle for two very rewarding years. I started my career with Safestyle as a sales rep working out of the Preston branch. I found it really enjoyable and exciting.

The fast paced, great pay structure is what kept me striving to work harder and earn more.

After 18 months I decided to get into the canvassing side of the business. I became a canvasser for six months, also taking on management stand-in help for the branch. Coming from a retail background I found the dynamics of Safestyle really refreshing as it's all focussed on working hard and earning accordingly.

After a lot of hard work and effort I was then offered the branch manager's role here in Glossop. It's the most demanding role I've ever held, but at the same time - THE BEST!

I feel the Fasttrack program is a fantastic opportunity.

I initially started at Safestyle in 1997 as a summer job as I was due to start university that year. I soon realised I had a job and potential career path that would allow me to earn uncapped on the journey to getting the job I wanted.

Within the first year as a marketing agent I'd progressed to team manager in the marketing department, the following year due to Safestyle's ethos of investing in and training their people I was given an opportunity to be a part of developing new branches as Bristol, Reading and Brighton opened.

In 2005 I fell in love and started a family and was posted in a flagship branch at Bristol as the marketing manager, since 2010 I have been the branch manager of Bristol and have had the pleasure of seeing lots of people develop and go on to management positions.

Safestyle is like another home and I would advise anyone to give it a shot.

I started working at Safestyle in 2008 when I was 17 years old, after leaving school with no qualifications. I had an interview at the Blackburn branch and within a week I was given the opportunity to become a canvasser promoting energy efficient windows and doors. They made me feel very welcome, and trained me to the best of my ability. After two years I was promoted to CCM (canvass crew manager), this role involved managing four canvassers. The branch canvass manager promoted me again to appointments manager, which meant I confirmed customer visits to discuss our products and how we could help with a customer's issues with their old windows. Within another two years the branch canvass manager at the time became national canvass manager. Working with him for four years in Blackburn put me on the right path to continued promotion - because he believed in me and now eight years down the line I'm a national floater which means I go to different branches throughout the country, giving training to people that started just like me all those years ago. I am very proud of my achievements over the last eight years and without that one person believing in me I wouldn't be where I am today. Safestyle is like another home and I would advise anyone to give it a shot.

What the Programme Looks Like

As part of our Fast Track Career Programme you’ll be exposed to some of the key departments within our company. You’ll gain an understanding of the operational efficiencies, the internal control and the compliance protocols in Sales and Marketing, Manufacturing, Finance and more.

If you gain a place on the programme you will very quickly become a valued member of the Safestyle UK family. That’s an experience in itself. Our employees work in close-knit teams, sharing the pressures and successes of the challenges we face daily. Excel in these environments and within two years you could be leading one of these teams or heading your own project. Some people will be drawn to our sales team due to our commission deal and bonuses which are by far the best in the industry!
